Spinach – Diesel Strain
June 26, 2020
We’ve always been told to eat our Spinach… but at Canna Cabana, we prefer to smoke it! Join us on a journey of the classic earthy, sweet, and pungent tones that highlight one of cannabis cultures’ favourite classics: Diesel. Traditionally sour and gassy with some juicy grapefruit notes gushing out on the inhale, Spinach’s cultivar has us puckering our lips in delight. It takes our party back to nature, and reminds us of camping with friends. The cool breeze, the woody pines… the mountain lion that wants to join us in rotation.
The Diesel strain was originally bred in New York City by a grower named “AJ” in the early 1990s, and it is believed to be Chemdawg 91 and Super Skunk. Some might argue that Diesel is the most popular east coast strain of all time, and it remains almost as ‘New York’ as apple pie.
Spinach Diesel is a nod to a new kind of cannabis, a non-irradiated and hand-trimmed hybrid with a special focus on explosively flavourful terpenes. It’s made for consumers hunting for a mind-and-body smoke, but also those sick of the “all hail the kale” crowd.

The Effects of Jack Haze
Jack Haze, as the name implies, induces an insightful fog. The creativity starts in our stomachs before spreading into our fingers and toes, shooting out like light beams at a Pink Floyd laser show. We don’t need no education – this strain is giving us all sorts of ideas.
There’s plenty of energy, laughter, and euphoria too – they flow from our pores like lava. We tend to smoke this strain before heading to Mac’s for snacks, always pausing to perform a flash mob in the condiment aisle.
