Hi Cabana Club,

Things are changing very quickly in Canada, with COVID-19 causing a great deal of uncertainty among our customers and community.

Since we opened our doors, Canna Cabana’s purpose has been to help Canadian cannabis enthusiasts live their best lives. Today, a big part of that commitment is making sure we’re putting the safety of our customers and staff first, as we continue to provide Canada with access to cannabis.

Today, I want to take some time and let you know what we’re doing in our stores to protect you.

+ Hand Sanitizer is being made available to customers and staff as quickly as possible, wherever possible, on entry to the store.

+ Door Measures are being taken at some of our busiest locations, to make sure we control the number of customers in the store at once.

+ Surface cleaning with anti-viral, anti-bacterial cleaners is being done on door handles, debit terminals, and display cases at frequent intervals.

+ Brochures and Marketing Materials are being removed from the floor, and will not be distributed at this time.

+ Cabana Club registrations will be completed by budtenders, and customers will not be required to touch tablets.

+ Debit and Credit is the safest way to pay for your cannabis. Please pay by card whenever possible.

It goes without saying that our budtenders always wash their hands and practice good hygiene regularly. At this time, we’re enhancing our practices even further around these very important personal prevention measures.

Even with our precautions, we want to offer you as much peace of mind as we can during this challenging time. That’s why Canna Cabana is rolling out our Click & Collect platform, allowing you to easily place an order for cannabis on your phone or home computer, for quick collection in store.

This platform is already active in select locations, with more coming online every day. www.cannacabana.com will be activating locations as quickly as they become available.

All of this remains subject to change, as our team stays tuned-in to guidance from Public Health and Government around the country. That’s why this blog will be updated with changes regularly, with additional information published to our social channels (Twitter, below & Instagram) and through our Cabana Club messaging platform.

Update: Thursday, April 9th 2020

We’re re-opening our Hamilton and Sudbury stores today, thanks to a ruling from the provincial government on allowing curbside pickup and delivery. Delivery services will be coming soon, and we will re-open our Toronto store shortly as well!

Update: Sunday, April 5th 2020

The government of Ontario has removed Cannabis Retail stores from its list of essential retail. As of today, all of our Ontario locations have been closed to the public. We’re awaiting guidance from the government of Ontario on any developments related to curbside pickup or delivery, and are ready to respond when these options become available.

Update: Tuesday, March 24th 2020

The government of Ontario has aligned on Cannabis as an essential retail service. CLICK TO VIEW. In response, our Canna Cabana locations will remain open to the public, and we will continue to take additional precautions to keep our budtenders and customers safe.
