• At the other end of the cartridge, there will be a connector between the cart and the battery. The battery is usually a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that is either button activated or just turns on while inhaling.
• Both rechargeable, and disposable pens, which have a pre-charged battery, contain an atomizer which is the heating element or temperature control. This heats the oil or other cannabis concentrate to a high enough temperature to turn it to vapor. 

After screwing in the cartridge to the battery pack, you are ready to toke up by either pressing the button on the battery to heat up the cannabis oil or just begin inhaling with an auto-turn-on vape pen.
